- Helen Oy (hereinafter the Procurement Entity or the Purchaser) is building a new heat pump plant in Eiranranta, Helsinki. The plant produces district heating power for the Helsinki district heating network and cooling power for the Helsinki district cooling network. As a heat source, the facility uses heat from Viikki's wastewater treatment plantalgae treated wastewater. The facility is mainly located in a cave, which is under the thermal center of Munkkisaari.
The object of procurement is three (3) submersible pumps and seventeen (17) centrifugal pumps with electric motors. The procurement is divided into three packages:
a) submersible pumps,
b) large centrifugal pumpsput,
c) the rest of the centrifugal pumps.
The object of the procurement is described in more detail in section II.2. "Description of the acquisition". More detailed information and specifications will be sent in the actual request for tenders, which will be distributed to suppliers selected as bidders.
Within the initial target schedule, the introduction of pumps aAccording to the preliminary schedule, it will take place between May and June 2025. The delivery time of the pumps is 31 October 2024. However, the tenderer is asked to note that the binding dimensional drawings and the maximum permissible forces and moments for the pump flanges must be delivered to the customer no later than 30.10.2023, because tuedot is needed for the design and stress inspection of the facility's process piping.
According to the current schedule, the pumps will be connected to the plant's pipelines in connection with the process pipeline installation work to be carried out during late autumn 2024 and early 2025. The commissioning of the pumps is tentatively scheduled... - Documents:
