Description:
There is a need to purchase a Philips Ingenia Evolution1.5T HP RT magnetic resonance imaging device update and maintenance from PhilipsOy in order to extend the service life of the current device and guarantee device performance and image quality. Pursuant to Section 40, Subsection 2, Clause 2 of the Act on Public Procurement and License Agreements (1397/2016), the procurement entity may choose direct procurement if for technical or exclusive rights protection reasons only a certain supplier can carry out the procurement; an additional condition is that there are no reasonable alternative or substitute solutions and the absence of competition for the artificial narrowing of the terms of cable procurement. The device manufacturer has announced that the device the update and maintenance can only be performed by the device manufacturer Philips Oy.
