Description:
The demolition site is located in the city of Oulu, Tuira district at Itakangastie 9, 90500 Oulu. The demolition target is the main building on the plot, which is also known as the Merikoski school. On the same plot, there is a preserved building C, which will be renovated to coincide with the demolition work at the time. The customer has agreed on the implementation of the renovation project as a separate contract from the demolition contract project. The demolition of the building is planned to be carried out simultaneously with the renovation project of building C by the summer of 2026 in order to minimize disruptions to the operations of the user administration.Main building was built in 1955, it was raised and expanded in 1960, 1964 and 2000. The building in question is a three-story school building with a floor area of approximately 5,381m2.
