- The City of Espoo Tilapalvelut-liikelaisto (later the Client) is requesting bids for the spring maintenance of the Leppaevaara swimming pool in 2023.
The Leppaevaara swimming pool is owned by the city of Espoo and completed in 1969 and renovated in 2015 with a gross area of 9923 square meters, which includes min-ground swimming pool open at night in summer.
Spring maintenance focuses on the measures required to open the in-ground swimming pool and it is scheduled for April, when the outdoor pool can be emptied and closed with ice for maintenance. Summer maintenance focuses on maintenance of indoor pools and their pool technology, summer maintenance is carried out in Julyin a month, when the swimming hall is on maintenance break. Fall maintenance focuses on putting the land swimming pool in winter condition and it is carried out in September-October before the frost season. The tender request is divided into six (6) sub-areas, for which maintenanceare: Steel pools, Pool equipment, Reverse osmosis equipment, Ozonators, Slides and whirlpools, and Heat recovery of shower water. The customer carries out other maintenance at the site, such as pump maintenance and cooling maintenance, as separate procurements with valid framework arrangement agreementsin the evening or with tenders.
Maintenance of the object is primarily carried out according to the schedule and instructions in appendix 2 "Leppaevaara swimming pool maintenance program".
