Description:
The object of the acquisition is accessibility services, the aim is to provide high-quality, expert and life-cycle-resistant professional services and testing tools for use in the development and maintenance of digital services. Accessibility services are used city-wide in all industries andin business establishments.
The law on the provision of digital services requires that the contents published online comply with the international accessibility guidelines for online content. WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is an international guideline developed and maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium. toiletAG sets three different target levels for accessibility; A, AA and AAA. In accordance with the decision of the City of Helsinki's Digital Management Group (October 24, 2019), websites and applications must meet the requirements for accessibility, and the City of Helsinki's goal is at least AA according to the WCAG guidelinesor a better level.
