• HUS (later also procurement entity or customer) requests participation applications from the chemistry of the Automation Laboratory located in Meilahti, Helsinki, and the hospital laboratories of Hyvinkää, Jorvi, Peijas, Lohja, Malmi, Porvoo, Lappeenranta, Kotka and Kouvola and for the procurement of immunochemistry automated analytics. The procurement is carried out as a competitive negotiation procedure in accordance with Section 36 of the Procurement Act (see appendix 5 Description of the procedure). The goal of the procurement is to replace the Automation Laboratory located in the HUSLAB building and the aforementioned uninterrupted, cost-effective and high-quality on-call and non-on-call analytics for chemistry and immunochemistry in hospital laboratories, as well as efficient sample logistics in the Automation Laboratory and pre-processing in HUS DGK facilities and performed by the staff also during the peak hours of the sample flow. The supplier's service package must include sufficient technical analytical expertise and product support, including service response, required by HUS DGK, so that the quality of the analytics and uninterrupted production is secured in all situations. To enable smooth reporting of analysis results, the degree of auto-verification of results should be as high as possible.
