- PURPOSE OF PROCUREMENT
Domestic digital magazines refer to digital visual editions of magazines and newspapers published in Finland and in small quantities elsewhere than Finland, which are accessible remotely.
The object of the acquisition is the digital service of domestic newspapers and magazines, which includesu magazine selection, browsing view, reading program and related support services for use by the e-library and its authorized users as a SaaS service implemented with the visual look of the e-library and integrated into the e-library application. Remote access journals must be used by library customersavailable regardless of location, around the clock, and one magazine can be read at the same time by a number of authorized users specified in advance per order.
The city of Helsinki acts as the procurement entity and the ordering party of this contract until the end of the procurement procedure. 1.1.2024 liability e-registerjasto service will be transferred to the National Library, and the materials and services acquired here will be transferred to the National Library in the spring of 2024.

CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract period is two (2) yearsfloat The procurement unit has the right to extend the validity of the contract for a maximum of two option periods of a maximum of one year. See also clauses 6 and 7 of the contract attached to the request for tenders.
