Description:
Espoo Catering Oy (later "Client" or "Procurement Unit") requests offers for the provision of temporary labor services. Hired labor refers to skilled catering and office personnel who are needed for various tasks in the Customer's kitchens and administration for different lengths of time.
Espoo Catering Oy is a provider of food, meal and restaurant services and related expert services, of the city of Espoo 100 percent owned in-house company. The company employs approximately 460 employees and its turnover is approximately EUR 40 million per year. The company operates in about 200 places in the Espoo area in day care centers, schools and lunch restaurants and sends meals to about one hundred (100) day care centers and group family day care centers.
The estimated value of the acquisition without VAT is approximately one million (1.0) euros per year, and five (5) million for the entire contract period euro. The procurement is thus a service procurement that exceeds the EU threshold of § 26 of the Act on Public Procurement and Right-of-Use Agreements (1397/2016, "Procurement Act"). For the sake of clarity, it is stated that the amounts mentioned above are the Customer's estimates of the service quantities to be procured, and not them thus bind the Client, but personnel are hired according to the Client's needs.
