Description:
The target is to implement the first snow trail, including making and preserving cannon snow, from the place of snow transport to the ski slope, and spreading snow into a finished top. The first snow trail will be built on a ski stadium and Santasport Sports Institute on a ski trail (so -called Lasse Latu).The total length of the track is about 6 km. Pure preservation is needed at least 10,000 m³. Until 2024, the preservation snow required for the first snow trail managed by the City of Rovaniemi was purchased from Lapland Ski Resort Oy. In the future this will not be possible because the company needs all the preservation snow for its ownfor use. As a result, the city has mapped other potential preservatives producers. On the basis of the mapping, only one service provider was found who can produce and supply the amount of preservatives needed for the first snow trail. As a result, the city of Rovaniemi has decided to acquire the first snow trailImplementation from Juujarvi Racing Oy. The cost of implementing the first snow trail is estimated at € 115,000 / year (VAT 0 %) if used10,000 m³ preservation. However, the value of the procurement depends on the amount of snow to be purchased, which may vary from year to year.
