- For the years 2026 2029, the city of Vantaa will acquire a learning outcomes assessment service for monitoring the mother tongue and mathematics skills in basic education. The evaluations focus on the joint stages of basic education: 2.-3. joint phase of year classes, 6.-7. joint phase of the year classes and with regard to the final assessment for the year class 9. Evaluations are carried out electronically in Finnish and Swedish. The goal of the acquisition is to produce comparable information about the students' competence level and its development in relation to the goals of the curriculum's basics and the national competence level. The service includes implementation instructions, assessment tasks implemented digitally, the scoring and reporting of the results. The service must be based on the curriculum and include a comparison of the learning results in relation to the goals of the curriculum basics and the national level of competence. The national comparison must be based on a representative sample. The service must include monitoring the development of learning results using a longitudinal assessment. The service provider must have experience in similar assessments and the ability to produce reliable, nationally comparable material in a longitudinal assessment setting. The customer reserves the right to extend the contract from 1.1.2030 to 31.12.2030.
