• Description:
• The city of Vantaa organizes a tender for the procurement of logging and forest machinery services in accordance with this request for tenders and its appendices. The treated areas are urban forests and construction sites. The works are ordered in more detail by work site. The supplier performs the work independently according to the Customer's instructions and in each order by job site in accordance with the specified measurement and quality requirements, using the supplier's tools. During the contract period, the subscriber does not commit to certain things to purchase quantities. Jobs are ordered all year round (between April and July, however, less or not at all). The employees performing the service must have forestry training or at least three (3) years of experience in the management of urban forests, and EA1 first aid course. The persons performing the service must have sufficient Finnish language skills. The service provider must be registered in the PEFC entrepreneur register and must be committed to the criteria of PEFC certification in the management of forests. Service provider must follow the principles of Vantaa forest management (appendix 2) in service production. Forestry services Based on the tender, a framework arrangement will be formed between six (6) suppliers. The object of the procurement is logging services. Forestry services are meant in this request for tenders felling, clearing and planting work in the Customer's urban forests and construction sites.
