Description:
Crowd movement data collected from the mobile phone network is aimed at being used as part of data production for general traffic counting. The general traffic calculation covers the state-owned road network, the total length of which is about 78,000 km and it is divided into about 14,000 road sections.
Current traffic calculationentapalvelu is based on continuous measurement points that cover the main road network and regularly repeated sample calculations and seasonal variation models that cover the rest of the road network. The utilization of movement data in traffic calculation is described in T of Movement dataand a hybrid method for larger roads.
This procurement concerns signaling data collected from telemasts, compiled into movement data without processing personal data and routed to the state-owned road network. Routing is not done for ramps. Fintraffic makes a hole in thisroad and road section-specific seasonal variation coefficients from the specified movement data material, which it uses in the estimation of sample calculation data.
