Description:
The object of the acquisition is the psychosocial support of the truth and reconciliation process for deaf and sign language people for the duration of the truth and reconciliation process. The purpose is to organize psychosocial support throughout the country in Finnish, Swedish, and Finnish and Finnish-Swedish sign language. From different levels attempts are made to organize psychosocial support as needed, e.g. low-threshold discussion help and self-care instructions, reception of a psychotherapist, peer support, and a service center period in challenging situations. In the most demanding situations, the person can be referred to the psychiatric services of welfare areas The quality and quantity of the required psychosocial support are not exactly clear at the start of the project, so the project has been designed to flexibly adapt to the needs that arise during the project. 1.1.2026-31.12.2027.
