- Salo city's cultural services (hereafter procurement unit/customer) requests offers for photography of elementary schools and high schools for the school year 2026-2027, so that the contract period starts on August 1, 2026 (target) and ends on July 31, 2027. In addition, the procurement unit reserves the possibility of two option periods of one academic year (academic years 2027-2028 and 2028-2029) so that the dates of the option period start and end corresponding to the dates of the contract period. An option refers to the possibility of extending the contract on original terms. The use and duration of the option is decided separately. The procurement will be carried out as a framework arrangement, the operating model of which is described in the Contract Procedure section of the request for tenders. Tenders are requested for this tender and its annexes The Board of Education recommends that the principles and practices stated in its recommendation (20.6.2011, 1/400/2011) be followed when ordering school photos and when agreeing on their organization. The goal is to increase the procedures related to the descriptions transparency, establishes good practices and ensures that guardians can buy high-quality and reasonably priced school photos. Legislation does not oblige schools to organize photo shoots, but the photos can be considered to be common to the school an activity that can also be used during school work time. Selling and buying photos is a legal transaction between the photo studio and the guardians of the photos. Buying pictures is completely voluntary for guardians.
