Description:
This acquisition focused on the acquisition of a work of art in the Ala-Malmi Park as part of the renovation project. The work is a two-part fountain consisting of two symmetrical concrete sculptures. The individual sculpture has two characters, one leaning on the character below. TopThe fingertips of the characters are sprayed with water. Acquisition was made without a bidding process (1397/2016) as a direct procurement under Article 40.2 (3) of the Procurement Act, because the purpose of the procurement was to create or purchase a unique work of art or artistic performance. According to Article 40 (3) of the Procurement ActThe contracting entity may choose a direct procurement if the purpose of the acquisition is to create or acquire a unique work of art or artistic performance.
