Description:
The Finnish Railways Agency requests your offer for the construction contract "Vt 15 Rantahaka (Kotka) Kouvola, 1st phase, STk contract". The contract includes construction planning and construction to the extent specified in the request for tenders and its attached documents.
The contract is partial implementation (1st phase) Vt 15 Rantahaka (Kotka)-Kouvola road plan. The project area is located on the busy highway 15 between Kotka and Kouvola, which is the most important longitudinal connection in Kymenlaakso. Highway 15 is an important part of the main network of Finnish roads (service level class I) and serves the national south-north traffic and it is part of the route of large special transports. Highway 15 serves as an important freight traffic between highways 6 and 12 belonging to the TEN-T comprehensive network and the Hamina Kotka harbor and Kouvola RRT terminal and the E18 road belonging to the TEN-T core network as a connection.
The highway will be improved to a medium lane passing lane between Leikari-Ylanummi, Uronlampi-Inkeroinen and Keltakangas-Kiehuva (22 km, 9 passing lanes). Road alignment between Uronlammi and Inkeroinen will be changed (8 km) and the rest of the road will be improved mainly in its current location. In the contract, a multi-level interchange will be built near Marinkyla. The Inkeroinen, Rautakorvi and Kiehuva connections will be improved into staggered connections.
