- Metsaesairila Oy (=procurement unit) is a waste management company owned by the city of Mikkeli, whose basic task is to organize statutory waste management services.night, in the area of the city of Mikkeli, there has been a phased transition from the dual waste transport system to waste transport organized by the municipality. In the final phase, the transport of mixed waste will also be organized by the municipality, starting from 01.02.2025.
The procurement unit is preparing the procurement of mixed and bio wasten and useful fractions (glass and plastic packaging, small metal and cardboard) for container emptying and waste transportation in the entire area of Mikkeli city, so that mainly the contract periods start on 01.01.2025.
This is an advance notice of our future procurement. Our actual procurement notice is intendedto be published in the week of 18.
