This announcement is a preliminary announcement and an invitation to market dialogue. This notice is not a procurement notice, a request for tenders, and the publication of the notice does not start a bidding process. The city of Helsinki is planning to carry out the basic improvement works of the Töölö Kisahalli as a collaborative project management contract in the development phase. The Töölö race hall is included in the nationally significant built cultural environment (RKY 2009) as part of the Olympic buildings. The race hall has been considered to have such values that in connection with the repair measures, the aim is to cherish the basic features of the building and strengthen its architectural and functional whole. The Kisahalli of Töölö has been used for sports since 1976, and no significant functional changes have been made to the property or technical changes. The most significant remedial measures since the 1976 commissioning have been the facade works carried out in 1989, where both the water roof and the facades were reviewed. In this repair, only part of the windows were renewed. Extent of property is approx. 27,000 brm2 and the volume is approx. 136,000 m3. The project includes a comprehensive technical and functional basic improvement of the property. The main functional goal of the basic improvement is to increase exercise facilities, increase the number of visitors and increase leisure time spaces in use.
