• Description:
• The city of Savonlinna requests bids in accordance with this request for bids and its attachments. Through competition, labor force training is acquired in accordance with Chapter 7 of the Act on the Organization of Labor Services (380/2023). The training is intended for the unemployed and for job seekers in the transport industry who are under the threat of unemployment and who have previously completed a professional qualification either based on a driving license or a basic professional qualification completed in education. The aim of the education is for the student to validating/updating the professional qualification, strengthening the student's professional skills and promoting the student's employment. The training gives the student the skills to master road traffic legislation and safe and economical transportation and acts responsibly in his work duties and in traffic. The content of the training is described in more detail in the service description attached to the request for tenders. The tender request attachments can be found in the tender request section Appendices and links. The minimum duration of the training is ten (10) days, including five (5) days of further training of the driver's professional qualification according to the needs of the customer target group and working life. In addition, the training includes the possibility of practical driving practice (maximum 7 hours) for those students who need it.
