- The SureScan microarray system supplied by Agilent Technologies Finland Oy is in use in the wellness area of Varsinais-Finland. SureScan is a device set for microarray scanning, which is used for CGH+SNP analyses. The use of the hardware is based on Agilent's technology, where the analyzes are performed with microarray glasses specified by the manufacturer and corresponding system-specific accessories. Studies based on CGH+SNP analytics are accredited and validated by Tyks Genomics for this purpose. The supplies being purchased are device-specific and technically tied to the Agilent SureScan microarray devices owned by the Varsinais-Suomi welfare area, and the devices cannot be used for their intended purpose without the accessories in question. The SureScan system uses microarray glasses manufactured and specified by Agilent, and only suitable mechanical accessories and method-specific reagents designed for the microarray glasses in question. The supplies are compatible exclusively with Agilent microarray slides, and there are no technically or functionally compatible alternative reagents for use with these slides. The device manufacturer has announced that Agilent SureScan only accessories manufactured by them can be used in the microarray device. The only possible supplier is Agilent Technologies Finland Oy.
