- The City of Tampere, Tampereen Vesi Oy and Tampereen Energia Oy are building the street and public areas of the new plan area in the Peltolampi district. The area is located about 7 km south of Tampere Central Market.
The construction contract includes, among other things construction of streets and parks, construction of new municipal engineering (water supply, wastewater, stormwater, traffic lights and street lighting), district heating, management transfers, special transportation changes to Peltolampinkatu, and surface work (concrete and natural stones).
