Object of procurement is an analytical information source for country and bank sector analysis. Finnvera's regional managers follow the economic and political developments in the main markets of Finnish exports, the focus in non-OECD-countries. The country analysts write country assessments for Finnvera decision making and formulate country cover policies. For financial data the IMF and IBRD sources are used. The bank analysts write bank analyses and classify banks. At the moment Finnvera has exposure for 85 markets but new countries of interest emerge as Finnvera works on a demand driven basis exporters (=Finnvera clients) make enquiries and apply for cover, and Finnvera studies the countries where there is guarantee demand. The procured information source must allow retrieval of academic analytical reports on the geopolitical situations of various countries and regions. The service should provide quick access to digestible content that explains current developments in the target country and offers analysis on the impact of the developments and how the situation is expected to evolve.The contracting authority is seeking access to a ready-to-use, browser-based database service.
