• The Rauma archipelago is located a short sea distance from the mainland. The archipelago consists of about 300 islands, some of which are located in the Selkämere National Park, established in 2011. The most significant islands in the Rauma archipelago used for tourism and recreation are Mountain rowan and Kuuskajaskari. On Kylmäpihlaja's lighthouse island, you can find the nature of the outer archipelago and open sea views, as well as accommodation, cafés and restaurants serving visitors. On Kuuskajaskari's fortress island, which exudes military history, you can find accommodation, cafes, sauna and restaurant services. Nature tourists are also served by the hiking trails of the entire Rauma archipelago with service equipment. The tourism and tourism marketing of Rauma's vitality industry will tender the archipelago's scheduled traffic for the period 2026-2027. It is possible to extend the contract with a one-year option period until 2028. Exercising the option is a right of the purchasing entity, not an obligation.
