• The municipality of Tuusula is preparing the procurement of a coordination service for art acquisitions in the municipality's area. Ongoing projects- Design and implementation of arts in Garrison square (ongoing)- Lahela school, daycare center and youth center (estimate approx. 300-400h, autumn 2026-autumn 2029) Rykmentinpuisto's art program and the steering group of art programs: The role of the art coordinator for Rykmentinpuisto's art program is continuous. The estimated annual need is approx. 120h and the meetings, which are approx. once a month (in addition to the different stages require a different number of meetings). For other projects, coordination is for the duration of each contract. It decides on artist selections and their criteria, the use of project funds, schedules and works as a contractual partner with artists. In separate projects, the contract partner is the management of each project. The art coordinator acts as the group's secretary and agrees with the chairman on the work schedule. The art coordinator presents and implements the alternatives the ways of acquiring art for the respective destination. The art coordinator works as a promoter of the practical matters of the artist, the client and the construction contract.
