Description: The object of the acquisition is the treatment and sale of the ash of Turku Seudun Energiatuotanto Oy's (hereinafter TSE) Naantali power plant and the Orikedo bioheat plant for the contract period 1.12.2021—30.11.2024. The agreement includes a two (2) year extension option, the exercise of which is announced by the subscriber at least one year before the end of the fixed-term contract period.
The arrangement covers fly ash and bottom ash from the mixed combustion of the Naantali 4 unit CFB boiler (bio, SRF, peat, asphaltene, coal) and the bottom ash from the Naantali 3 unit and the fly ash and bottom ash from the BFB boiler at the Orikedo bioheat center. The terms and conditions of the arrangement can also be used to handle fly ash or bottom ash from Tku owner Turku Energia's Artukaisten bioheat center insofar as they can be delivered to the disposal area in Härkäsuo in accordance with TSE's environmental permit, but the supplier and Turku Energia agree separately on these deliveries.
