• Lapland's welfare area has acquired audiology services from Lapland kuuloterveys Oy for 30-34 hours a week by decision of the director of somatic special medical care § 125 on 6 May 2025. Audionomy services purchase service contract of the contract that was the subject of the decision as a temporary contract (LAPHA/7228/02.08.04/2025) the contract period 26.5.2025-31.3.2026 is coming to an end. In the future, the welfare area can produce the audiologist service as its own operation from September to December 2026, when a new audiologist will be qualified for the unit. The purchase service is needed until the audiologist has graduated, i.e. until 31 December 2026 at the latest. Compared to the current contract, the need for the service is calculated to be reduced to around 25 hours per week, varying from 0-34 hours per week. The service subject to the contract is a social and health service in accordance with Annex E referred to in Section 107 of the Act on Public Procurement and Right-of-Use Agreements 1397/2016, with a threshold value of 400,000 euros. The expected value of the necessary extension contract is 67,500 euros. The value of the purchase is the value of previous audiologist contracts for the 48-month review period to be taken into account. The total value of the contracts is 660,340 euros. The procurement is carried out in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement and Right-of-Use Agreements 1397/2016, Section 40, Subsection 2, Sections 2 and 4 as a direct purchase. Bidding for a new contract would require 3-4 months of resources and time to prepare. When the new contract comes into force, the contract period would have a maximum of 6 months left, and the need for service is expected to end...
