Description:
The subject of the acquisition is the statutory audit services of the Teknologian tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy group (later VTT Oy), VTT Oy's sustainability assurance services, VTT Oy's research project audits (later "Project audits") and the expert services needed at VTT Oy for the fiscal years 2026 2030 and a two-year extension option.
Statutory auditing refers to the auditing of accounting, financial statements, activity reports and administration in accordance with applicable laws, as well as other auditing services mentioned in this description of the object of procurement.
Durability certification covers the additional audit requirements for sustainability reporting as part of the company's financial statements set in the Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and based on the changes made to Finnish legislation based on it. If VTT remains after the Omnibus change, the statutory sustainability verification outside, VTT can, if it wishes, carry out a CSRD-compliant verification, for example, every year.
Audits of research projects refer to audits of publicly funded research projects where the financier requires VTT Oy to issue an audit opinion on the costs against a financial contribution.
Expert services are needed, for example, for questions related to tax legislation (value added tax and income tax).
