• Description:
• The traffic contracts for the Kotka region's public transport (Jonne & Minne) destinations 1-4 will expire in June 2026. The city of Kotka is launching a tender for the transport of destinations 1-4 in the fall of 2026. This inquiry is the first phase of the market dialogue. The traffic of destinations 1-4 covers all local traffic in the Kotka region (Kotka, Hamina and Pyhtää), with the exception of traffic handled by small vehicles. The procurement unit's goal is to get views and suggestions for the future from market players to tender. This document is not a procurement notice or a request for tender, but a request for information and a market survey. The contract period starts from the beginning of summer traffic in 2028, with some traffic possibly only in autumn 2028, depending on the future distribution of destinations. Preliminary the number of cars to be tendered is a total of 26 - 30 cars, depending on, in addition to the amount of traffic to be acquired, e.g. about whether there are trolleybuses in the fleet or not.
