- Rantamuuri is located along Porvoonjoki on the east bank, in the area of the historically valuable Old Town. The beach wall section to be renovated is located on the south side of the old town bridge and between the current beach fences. The object of the acquisition is Porvoon Vanhan basic improvement of the city's eastern seawall. The site is located at Jokikatu 57-24, 06100 Porvoo, on the south side of the Old Glulam Bridge. The north end of the shore wall to be repaired in the contract will be connected to the one renovated in connection with the aforementioned Old Bridge contract to the beach wall and at the southern end to the old beach fence. The stability of the construction area is improved with a permanent anchored pile wall. The current wall will be demolished with its foundations. The new foundations are cast on bored piles, the original masonry stones are restored / is attached to the new concrete casting. The object is described in more detail in the documents attached to this procurement notice. Getting to know the site: The procurement unit organizes the opportunity for interested bidders to get to know the site. Acquaintance visit takes place: Thursday 15.1.2026 at 12.00-13.00. In this procurement, the customer asks the provider to present a project plan in advance, in which the work the implementation and development phases are described and scheduled.
