Description:
Basic renovation of Kotka Central Hospital - the project involves the basic renovation of building parts Aa, Ab and Ac of the central hospital property. Aa and Ab are the original hospital, completed in 1968. The AC part is an extension completed in 1996. In the original part completed in 1968, as a load-bearing frame tcast-in-place concrete. The facade is made of burnt brick with thermal insulation underneath. The extension is a column/beam structure, where the intermediate bases are hollow slabs. The exterior walls are sandwich elements with a brick and concrete surface. Basic improvements are performed in the order Ac -- Aa -- Ab. Friin the renovation of old structures, old structures are extensively demolished and renewed. The site is located at Kotkantie 41, 48210 Kotka.
