Description:
The Pahkalanniemi Camping area, owned by the city of Parkano, is centrally located by the lake, close to downtown services and nature trails. The area has the potential to develop into an attractive tourist destination that supports the city's vitality, tourism and local entrepreneurship, and services. The current entrepreneur agreement has expired, and the city needs to tender a new operator to develop and maintain the area. The goal of the competition is to find a committed and competent entrepreneur who will develop the area in a responsible and customer-oriented manner. A new entrepreneur is required will start its operations in the area in May-June 2026. The technical committee, elinvoimatoimikunta and Kehitys-Parkki Oy organized an inspection in the area on October 3, 2025, when those interested had the opportunity to get to know the area and ask questions. The following criteria are emphasized in the competition: • The entrepreneur's experience and know-how (15%)•Area development plan (30%)•Customer experience and services (15%)•Responsibility and environmental values (10%)•Cooperation with the city (10%)•Rent offer (20) %)
