- PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROCUREMENT
The Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) organizes a tender for the procurement of bone substitutes. Due to the nature of the work, the wide user base and the different needs, the available selection of bone substitutes must be wide and high-quality.
CompetitionThe aim is to choose partners for HUS that have a wide selection of high-quality bone substitutes.
The procurement will probably be divided into eight (8) different areas:
1. Artificial bone chips
2. Bone marrow blocks containing collagen
3. Artificial bone marrow preparations 1 / Puttyt
4. Artificial bone readysteet 2 / Big blocks
5. Diaphragms 1 / GBR Rigid / Removable
6. Films 2 / GBR melt
7. Diaphragms 3 / Soft tissue substitutes / Augmentation materials
8. Biolasi
The information mentioned above about the possible sub-areas is only preliminary and the sub-areas will be defined in more detail in the final offerto request.
Due to the structure of Cloudia, it is stated in the request for participation that the procurement has not been divided into parts. As stated above, it is possible that the procurement will be divided into several sub-areas in the final call for tenders.
The procured bone substitutes will be used by the followingat specialties:
- Oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopedics and traumatology
- Plastic surgery
- Hand surgery
- Bone tumor unit
The content and scope of the procurement contract will be specified during the procurement procedure.
