- The city of Karkkila is tendering for the renewal of the brick roof of part B of Nykhkälä school. The operation area is about 900m2, but the bidder must go to the site himself to make detailed measurements before submitting the bid. The offer must include the following measures and issues:-Demolition of the old brick roof-Installation of a new roof, clay brick red-The old bituminous felt underlayment will only be dismantled in those parts where it is damaged. The old bituminous underlayment contains asbestos. About renewing the possible underlayment (demolition and installation) is given a price per square meter (Note: asbestos removal). The demolition includes the underlayment and the demolition of the beams. New underlay, e.g. Kerabit 2600 UB fleece or a similar product.-Possibly, removal of the cardboard underlay and removal of the ruts from the required area. Over here the offer gives the price per square meter for renewal (dismantling and installation). New underlay, e.g. Monier Span Flex, Ormax or a similar product.-The offer must include the necessary sheet metal work and possible sealing of penetrations. -Old footbridges, snow obstacles and gutters are kept-Necessary occupational safety measures, including the installation of scaffolding on both sides of the building. Adequate protection must be taken into account at school entrances so that building materials cannot fall from scaffolding or tools. During school days, there are a lot of children and adults in the vicinity of the construction site, which must be taken into account when planning the safety of the work.
