And Prism is a joint project of EU Member States, divided into seven different work packages. Four of the workouts are horizontal (coordination, dissemination, evaluation and continuity), and three of these workouts have been selected from the EU's good and promising practices portal. The targeted circle of friends (service) is one of the good practices selected for the good and promising practices and is selected as one of the workshops in this project to train the partners involved in the circle of friends. In addition during the project Support, consult and evaluate the work of partners in circle activities. The operating model is established in Finland. In Europe and outside Europe, activities are being piloted. The Circle of Friends is based on a wide-ranging, researched knowledge of loneliness and its relieving in the elderly. The activities have been implemented for about twenty years and has been established in Finland. In peer-to-peer review by the European Commission, the Friends of the Federation of Elderly Work has been selected as one of the best mental health-promoting practices (Best Practice in The Field of Mental Health). The acquisition is purchased from the Confederation of Elderly Work (VTKL), as it is the only player in Finland that owns the rights to train and disseminate activities.
