- Southwest Finland Jatehuolto Oy (LSJH/Customer) is a company owned by 18 municipalities. On behalf of the owners, we take care of residents' waste management and waste advice. The company has about 4,50,000 inhabitants in the area. LSJH has four waste centers and nine sorting stations, plus activitiesFor example, circulating collections and pick -up services are included. Our offices are located in Orikedo in Turku and in Korvenmaki in Salon. LSJH's strategic goal is to promote resource efficiency and regional circular economy to curb climate change. The company aims to be as low as possiblecarbon footprint and has set the emission reduction target for 2019-2025. In order to set a new emission reduction target and enable monitoring, LSJH will investigate its own operations and the carbon footprint of the waste management service it organizes in 2024.The carbon footprint has been calculated since 2019 every other year, and in the future each year. The calculation and reporting are carried out in accordance with the GHG protocol so that LSJH can report greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1-3 in accordance with VSME standard.
