NOTE! This is not a request for tender, a procurement announcement or a preliminary announcement, but an announcement about starting a market dialogue as part of procurement planning.
The city of Espoo has started the preparation for the procurement of the shared vehicle tracking tool and invites suppliers to a market dialogue.
Shared vehicles the aim of the acquisition of the management tool is to carry out supervision in accordance with the micro-traffic permit (§18) of the Act on Transport Services (3030/2025) in the area of the city of Espoo. The management tool is used to collect and monitor the movement data of shared vehicles and set operating rules for them and restrictions. The tool aims to improve urban safety and facilitate urban planning based on usage and regulatory data of shared vehicles.
The subject of the procurement is the Shared Vehicle Tracking Tool, to be acquired as a service, according to the following:
- The system software as a service (SaaS)
- Implementation and adjustment of the service to Espoo
- Application maintenance services
- System further development and expert services as needed by Espoo.
The functionality of the shared vehicle tracking tool is aimed at covering the following:
- Basic functions of the management tool i.e. collecting and displaying the usage data of about 6,000 shared vehicles to the user.
- Real-time and visual user interface for tracking shared vehicles, i.e. location-based, map-based shared vehicle tracking and transport operator...
