- In Pirkanmaa Jaetehuolto Oy's area of operation, waste transport organized by the municipality is in use. As authorized by the Waste Act, the cooperatives have transferred the responsibility of organizing the prescribed waste management to Pirkanmaa Jaetehuolto. In practice, the company tenders the transport of municipal waste, organized by Tyhjennykets, takes care of registers, customer service, invoicing and communication.
The transportation service subject to procurement includes collection of municipal waste based on the information provided by the customer and transportation to the reception locations specified by the customer. They enter the competition as their own regionsthe contracts will start in October 2024.
Pirkanmaan Jaetehuolto Oy invites interested service providers (entrepreneurs, haulage companies) to participate in the market dialogue regarding procurement. The aim of the dialogue is to inform about the current operation and the main points of the future acquisition, and together to specify haissues related to the competition in order to achieve the best possible outcome.
Market dialogue does not ask for or give offers. The information provided in the market dialogue will be treated confidentially and the information will only be used for the preparation of the procurement. The procurement unit is not vewilling to implement the acquisition in the ways that emerge in the dialogue. Participating in the market dialogue does not bind the supplier to participate in the tender, nor is it a prerequisite for later participation in the actual tender.
