Call for market dialogue: procurement of battery/battery displays for bus stops The City of Oulu Community and Environmental Services invites bidders to a market dialogue. The subject of the market dialogue is Oulu regional transport's (OSL) battery-powered (battery and/or hybrid solution) preparation for the acquisition of real-time stop displays. The planned acquisition concerns the stops: • which currently do not have real-time display • to which it is not possible to implement a fixed electricity connection The goal of the information request is find out the technical solutions available on the market, the cost level and feasibility. The aim of the market dialogue is to obtain information: • the suitability of battery-powered or hybrid solutions for public transport use • different display technologies (e.g. e-paper, LED, LCD) • power consumption and battery life • charging solutions (e.g. solar panels) • data transfer solutions (e.g. mobile network / IoT) • remote management and system integrations • installation solutions and installation methods • vandal resistance • life cycle costs Special attention is paid to the functionality of the solutions in northern winter conditions. Additional information This is not a procurement announcement or a request for bids, but an announcement about starting a market dialogue for potential industry players and potential bidders interested in procurement.
