• The subject of the market dialogue is the procurement of minor repairs and renovations of waterway safety devices for the needs of the Norwegian Railways Agency. The Finnish Railways Agency is responsible for the safety and functionality of waterways as part of its statutory duties. Maintenance and repair of safety devices are a key part of ensuring the safety of shipping and water traffic and maintaining the service level of the fairway network. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The subject of the procurement are small repairs of waterway safety devices and renovation works. As a rule, the works are carried out in accordance with the type drawings, work descriptions and general instructions prepared by the customer. Site-specific planning is only carried out in those cases where the specific characteristics of the site require it. Acquisition is intended to be implemented as a framework contract arrangement, on the basis of which the individual items are ordered separately. Site-specific work may require the framework contract operator to visit the site to determine the scope, conditions and implementation method of the work, if the site and its circumstances are not already known or are not sufficiently reflected in the tender documents. Destinations can be located: - on the mainland - on islands and islets - in the water - in sea and inland water areas The work may include the construction of different types of safety devices repairs, renovations, replacement of parts and other maintenance procedures.
