• The city of Turku and the city of Helsinki are organizing a joint market dialogue event, the aim of which is to map the views of the textile industry on the responsibility criteria for public workwear procurement. During the years 2026-2027, Helsinki The urban environment branch tenders the work clothes of the parking inspectors, and the Service Center Helsinki acquires work clothes for several uses. The city of Turku tenders a comprehensive selection of protective work clothes and other work clothes and shoes. Responsibility criteria will be included in all procurements. This joint market dialogue offers companies the opportunity to influence future procurements and promote consideration of overall responsibility.
