• This announcement is not a procurement announcement or a request for tenders, but an invitation to a proactive market dialogue aimed at mapping the market and developing procurement tender documents. Helsinki is committed to the principles of sustainable development of the UN and set itself ambitious climate goals. Helsinki wants to act as a trend setter and promote the realization of the goals of sustainable development in economically, socially and environmentally responsible, effective and climate-wise ways with procurement. Helsinki works to reduce indirect emissions and environmental impacts in procurement, and to promote practices by which the ethics of procurement can be secured better than at present. The city of Helsinki is also committed to a zero-emissions to the site's green deal agreement. The goal of the agreement is to reduce the emissions generated at the procurement units' sites in the long term by means of public procurement.
