DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
It is a tender covering the items mentioned in the tender request attachments, which will procure meal services for schools and daycare centers as well as cleaning services in addition to the previous ones as well cultural, sports and office destinations. The procedure is two-stage. Part of the bidding material, such as site plans or other more detailed information, will only be distributed to bidders who make it to the second stage for security reasons.
The procurement unit selects one (1) supplier with whom the contract is signed. Partial offers, parallel and alternative offers are not allowed. The procurement unit does not commit to specific procurement quantities; the procurement quantities presented in the request for tender are the procurement unit's forecasts of the required quantities. The procurement has not been divided into parts, because the meal and cleaning services form a naturally synergistic procurement entity. Tendering the services together leads to the most economical result overall.
PROCUREMENT TARGET SCHEDULE
Participation phase until 15.12.2025 at 10:00.
15 - 19 December 2025: interim decisions and transfer to the tender stage.
22.12.2025 - 22.2.2025: Bidding phase, during which target rounds 12.-15.1.2026.
Procurement decision at the city council meeting on 9 March 2026.
The new contract starts on August 1, 2026.
