• The city of Mikkeli is building the so-called Keskukeittiö Isopada backup power system. on a turnkey basis, in full working order, already installed in place, in accordance with good construction practice for a fixed contract price. The selected supplier works as the project's main designer, main implementer and is responsible for site management duties and other duties belonging to the main implementer, such as official inspections and protocols. Isopata central kitchen prepares lunch meals, snacks, dinner meals and the special diets included in them for kindergartens, elementary schools and high schools in the city of Mikkeli. Deliveries are also to Anttola, Ristina and Haukivuori. The delivery points are 30 kindergartens and 14 schools, lunches are prepared about 5,300 daily. In addition, Keskuskeittiö Isopata prepares snacks and dinner dishes, in which case the number of meals is a good 6,000 portions per day, about 1.4 million meals per year. 14 people work in Isopada on weekdays. Action is year-round. Other improvement measures are also carried out at the central kitchen at the same time and this should be taken into account when building the backup power system, e.g. power outages must be coordinated with another site and there is no need to build a backup power system cause harm to the operations of another construction site.
