Description:
With this market survey, the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is surveying the market and requesting information from suppliers regarding the procurement of a Chopper/Blender/Hammermill -equipment. The new equipment be located in Jokioinen, Finland. Short description of the most importantfunction of the equipment to preprocess the wet biomass before pressing biomass to separate the biomass to liquid and solid (fiber) fractions. The main purpose of the equipment is to break-destroy the physical structure of the plant material, to expose the inner structure of the plant. This willincrease the recovery of soluble components in the liquid fraction. The most important parameters of the equipment: - Need to work also with very wet biomass (15-20 % of dry matter), optionally possibility to add extra liquid during processing. - Capacity of 200-600 kg /hour - Possibility to controlparticle size with the range from approximately 5mm up to 20-25 mm - Easy loading of bulk - fluffy material (chopped grass or silage) It would be nice if the same company would also provide pump/screw conveyor to transport the processed biomass from the chopper/blender/hammermill to thepress.
