- The city of Helsinki is requesting offers for cleaning and washing services for aids in the social, health and rescue industry in accordance with this call for tenders and its appendices. One works in the social, health and rescue industry of the City of Helsinki the city-wide auxiliary equipment unit, Apuvlinepalvelut, whose office is located in Konala, Helsinki. Apuvlinepalvelut serves Helsinki adult customers (over 16 years old) whose functional capacity has decreased. The object of the procurement are the auxiliary equipment services cleaning and washing services for basic aids. Basic level aids include the most common washable aids, such as rollators, wheelchairs, toilet and shower chairs, shower stools, walking stands, standing stands and various transfer and support equipment. The service is aimed at aids returned from customers, which are cleaned and processed again for handing over to use. The procurement is by nature a workforce-oriented service procurement. The subscriber is responsible for the premises used to provide the service, machines, devices and washing and cleaning agents. The service provider is responsible for the operational implementation of the service, including the organization of sufficient and competent personnel, the daily execution of the work, and the agreed procedures, instructions and compliance with quality criteria. The need for assistive devices is always assessed by an assistive device expert, and the assistive devices are given to customers for personal use on a loan basis.
