- The National Museum Agency / National Museum ("Procurement Unit") is acquiring a CNC machining center ("Equipment") for the woodworking workshop of the National Museum of Finland for processing pieces made of wood and wood-like materials. The device is acquired in order to The procurement unit is able to meet the requirements of special and custom-made furniture and structures for exhibitions and events at all sites of the National Museum of Finland. In these destinations, various events and the aim is to make the construction and dismantling of exhibitions more efficient, and this kind of activity places special demands on the quality and properties of the products produced as carpentry, such as the reusability of the furniture and the efficiency of storage. The operation of the procurement unit's woodworking shop is comparable to the operation of 6-10 people, i.e. a small/medium-sized carpentry company, which mainly manufactures various custom-made furniture and construction carpentry products.
