- HUS Apteek's Kymenlaakso office will acquire a collection warehouse automation system that automates the storage and processing of medicines. The purpose of the equipment is to automate the storage and collection process of medicine packages for medicines stored at room temperature (15 - 25 C). With the automatic collection warehouse, logistical work steps such as the reception of medicines, storage, inventory and collection are made more efficient, taking into account the shelf life of the products. The device's functions also include the packaging of medicines per customer order in medicine boxes for shipment. 2D of medicine packagesby using the information contained in the data matrices, both the drug verification required by EU legislation can be performed and the control of the warehouse can be enhanced.
