- The service that is the subject of the request for tenders collects separately collected medical waste fractions from all pharmacies in HSY's operating area and Kirkkonummi (approx. 100 pcs), which include ordinary medical waste, iodine-containing medical waste, mercury thermometers, needles and syringes, cytostats and pharmacies'own laboratory chemical waste. Pharmaceutical waste and other similar items are delivered on the same day to Kiviko's hazardous waste warehouse, Kivikonlaita 5, 00940 Helsinki.
