• The procured service includes company-specific prototype workshops/technology experiments, the aim of which is to support the development of industrial and technology companies in the Mikkeli region by utilizing digital and developing technologies. The service focuses on fast and for limited experiments in which the applicability of new technologies to the business, production and product development needs of companies is tested and concretized.1. Background Mikkeli's development company Miksei Oy implements the Ditek project (EU, South Savon regional association, EAKR), whose goal is to promote the renewal and competitiveness of industrial and technology companies in the Mikkeli region by utilizing digital and developing technologies. The project supports companies' ability to identify, experiment and applies new technologies as part of the development of business, production and product development. The Ditek project is implemented under the management of Mikkeli's development company Miksei Oy in cooperation with the Southeastern Finland University of Applied Sciences Xamki. Mikkeli's development company Miksei Oy is responsible for work package 2 bidding, contracts and ordering assignments. Xamk participates in the project in an expert role in accordance with the project's goals. Work package 2 focuses on concrete company-specific prototype workshops and technology experiments. In these, companies get expert support for fast and limited testing of new technological solutions and for producing prototypes, experiments or concepts suitable for further development.
