Description:
The object of the procurement is a year-round ferry service on the Porvoo and Sipo ferry routes.
The connection vessel service must cover the connection vessel traffic of the route areas in accordance with the service description. The service includes, among other things, the acquisition of the ships needed for the operation, dailytraffic management in accordance with the specified service level, communication to customers, receiving and processing customer feedback, and small-scale management of state-owned connection piers. The service provider is responsible for the implementation of the service level based on the quality responsibility principle.
Ships used in trafficrequirements, the service level of the route areas and other quality requirements of the service are presented in the procurement documents.
This procurement is divided into two sub-areas:
1) Operation of the connecting ferry route to Porvoo
2) Operation of the connecting ferry route to Sipo
In this procurement, alternative tbids in such a way that the bidder can offer either sub-area 1 or 2, and if the bidder offers both sub-areas, it can also give a joint price for both sub-areas as an alternative offer. As described in more detail in the procurement documents, the procurement unit chooses the option thatis the most economically advantageous for it. The issuing of alternative bids and the selection criteria are described in more detail in the procurement documents.
